A Child Is Born in Bethlehem

This playful and joyful carol is full of thanksgiving for the birth of Christ and includes newly written verses by the composer. Cast in the style of a traditional carol, the organ offers a supportive foundation for the opening unison verses, steps aside for a tender unaccompanied verse, then returns to drive a triumphant ending, crowned by a soaring descant.
