A Dream Within a Dream

This ethereal and haunting piece taps into the desperation of Poe's timeless poem. Tension slowly builds through a thickening texture and dissonance, until the piano accompaniment transports us to a "surf-tormented shore." The music then builds to the climactic moment where the narrator cries out their desire to hold on to even a fleeting moment in time.
