Adapted for younger jazz bands from Gordon Goodwin's original Big Phat Band chart, A Few Good Men is a rock march that begins with a drum cadence, then transitions into a funky-rock groove at about 114 bpm. Included are written solos for tenor sax and trumpet 2, a lead trumpet range to written A above the staff and clear rhythm section parts with optional vibes. It's also playable with optional expanded instrumentation. It's hot, and highly recommended!
