A Light in the Ocean

A reflection of the wonders of life across our planet, the simple melody slowly develops and changes over the course of the piece to exemplify the ever-changing life cycle of the world. The piece relies heavily on the Dorian mode, having a minor quality but with an added brightness and light. A sense of gentle movement in the orchestra gives each moment a water-like quality.
