A Manger Suite

Celebrate the glory of Christmas with this tremendous four-song collection/mini-musical featuring songs from Michael W. Smith's "It's a Wonderful Christmas."  Arranged by David Hamilton, these stirring musical selections were created for performance by SATB choir, vocal ensemble and children's choir.  Woven together with short narrations that move from the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy to the miracle of Christ's birth, the suite closes with a celebration around the manger with all of creation.  The actual orchestrations are modified from Smith's recording for use by churches.  An inspiring recorded accompaniment track is performed by the 60-piece City of Prague Philharmonic.  This suite is perfect to incorporate into a broader Christmas program or can be used as a separate performance piece.
