A Mighty Fortress

To celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, a momentous occasion in the history of the church, composer Erik Meyer crafted a dynamic work based on Martin Luther's beloved hymn A Mighty Fortress. The triptych itself is in three movements, intended to be useful for prelude, offertory, and postlude (or performed together in a recital setting). As an added bonus, also included are a hymn introduction and two alternate harmonizations for accompanying congregational singing.
