A Nautical Fantasia

Ten traditional sea songs and shanties are linked in this series – some are work songs to accompany and synchronize heavy group activity such as hauling in the anchor, while others are more restful ballads. Most date from between 1600–1900. This is playable by a medium-advanced ensemble and is a faithful rendering of these old yet timeless catchy melodies.
