A SHOWER OF RAIN BRINGS NEW LIFE is a celebration of the renewal that unfolds in the wake of an Oregon deluge.
The piece commences with a descending melody, mirroring the gentle start of rain that gradually builds to a downpour before gracefully receding. In the heart of the composition, a "growing theme" emergesa simple ascending melody symbolizing the slow but steadfast renewal of greenery. Finally, at the apex of the piece, the original melody triumphantly inverts and intermingles with the "growing theme" from before. In that euphoric moment, new life bursts forth in all its splendoran exultant tribute to nature's resilient spirit.
