Edited by Michael Driscoll. Florence Price's 'Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight' is a 27-minute cantata for SATB choir, solo voices, and piano. The longest of her choral works, 'Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight' sets Vachel Lindsay's poignant poem of the same title. The work imagines Lincoln's restless spirit as he wanders through a world still torn by conflict and injustice, themes that still resonate today. This edition, created by Michael Driscoll in the summer of 2018, represents the first modern day edition of this work.
