Accolada

It's amazing how the rhythms in this piece reach out and grab you!  Mixing meters and accents with a churning percussion section, Accolada hits the pavement running and doesn't stop!  Especially effective are some "rips" in the trumpets and horns, and a central section that offers a moving, relaxed contrast.  It's the outer movements though, that will captivate your audience.
