Agon

The title is a Greek word referring to athletic or artistic competition worthy of hard work, dedication and discipline. With this in mind, all sections of the band compete in their efforts to see who can perform the best.  Style, dynamics, articulation and technique are all considered in this dignified and forceful work that encourages musicians to perform at their highest level.
