Ahlan Wa Sahlan

Born of a collaborative effort by area International Schools for a Middle Eastern choral festival in Oman, this original work for high school or collegiate choirs combines the Arabic language and style with some short English phrases to welcome and make all feel included like family. An opening section presents a lyrical unison or solo melody before opening up to a syncopated choral texture. Choreography suggestions are included. Instrumental parts for drums and guitar, clarinet, or violin are available as downloads from the publisher.
