This ancient philosophy claimed that iron could be converted into gold and the composer discovers a parallel in musical composition. He has the ability to take the notes of a scale and turn them into music which is just as magical but has far more successful results. Using the notes as the musical equivalent of iron he turns them into music that's just as precious as gold.
