Alianza

Alianza, the Spanish word for "alliance," is represented here through the high-energy blending of Latin and swing styles. The main melody seamlessly integrates the two styles. There is a written-out jazz solo for trumpet 2, and every section of the band is featured at some point. The lead trumpet range is to written A above the staff. Optional parts are included for flute, horn in F, baritone/tenor sax, tuba, and percussion. A refreshing challenge! Highly recommended!
