All Hail the Power (Medley)

The moving text of the beloved hymn "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name" has stood the test of time. Beginning with a soprano solo on the Tucker/Vaughan Williams tune "All Praise to Thee, for Thou, O King Divine" we move through various choral settings of 2 of the text's well known tunes- 'Coronation' and 'Miles Lane.' We finish with a majestic "Doxology" ('Old Hundredth') punctuated by the brass with fragments of the 'Diadem' tune and concluding with a triumphant finish. This is the Octavo-only version. An orchestrated version of this is also available in our catalog, and is scored for Flute, Oboe, Bb Clarinet, 3 Trumpets, 2 Trombones, Bass Trombone, Timpani, Tubular Bells, (SATB/Piano) and 1st and 2nd Violins; a Keyboard String Reduction is included.
