Alle, Alleluia is appropriate for choirs of various ability levels. Developed largely around the Dorian scale, it is a quick learn and could work excellently as a concert opener. It was conceived while I was at an Easter service, hearing the word Alleluia used several times. As I thought up the melody, I quickly used music notation shorthand to write out what would become the alto part.
