Alleluia and Farewell

In October 2019, my father, Scott Taylor passed away from cancer. Shortly after that was my birthday and for the first time in 20 years, I didn't get a cartoon birthday card drawn by my dad. It was at that moment that it hit me that he was really gone. For years he sent me his art on my birthday. On March 14, 2021 - what would have been his birthday, I dedicated "Alleluia and Farewell" to him. Aequali are pieces for equal voices, typically short, chordal pieces for three or four trombones. They were commonly written in the 18th century to commemorate the deceased.
