Alley Cat Strut

While not a solo feature, Alley Cat Strut is a minor-key jazz/rock chart at a medium tempo that does let an alto sax soloist stretch out. Developing groups will groove hard while really enjoying the accessibility of this chart that also has an effective stop-time interlude beginning with the lower voices and then layers in the rest of the band. This is followed by a return to the head with development built in. It's a very cool chart!
