An English Ode

Based on Purcell's Come, Ye Sons of Art, this well-crafted arrangement for second-year players features a nice variety of scoring and dynamic contrasts. Phrases are traded between the woodwind and brass sections (cues included) before the full band comes together to provide a nice spectrum of instrumental colors. It's a wonderful revisiting of an important era of music history.
