An Epic Journey

Embark on An Epic Journey! This engaging Grade 3 piece takes students on a musical adventure full of mystery, danger, and triumph. As students encounter many orchestral bowings and musical motives, they'll reinforce solid technique and orchestral skills. The piece travels through several exciting musical episodes in E minor before arriving at its relative, G major. With the exception of a soaring but simple octave divisi passage in the first violins, the work is voiced entirely in the lower position for all string sections.
