And All that Jazz

Sequentially written to teach piano students of all levels, these volumes present the basic elements of jazz piano playing. By offering fun-to-play pieces that teach backbeat, swing eighth notes, and blue notes, each book will motivate the player to master techniques while learning the "language of the art of jazz." Included with each book is a professionally recorded CD which contains a performance of each piece by professional jazz band, a piano only track and an accompaniment track. Both performance and practice tempos are often provided for each piece.  Vol. 1 is at the late elementary to early intermediate level.  Vols. 2 and 3 are at the intermediate level.
