In English and Spanish.  Unison with four-part round.  For piano or guitar accompaniment and optional Andean bombo (drum).  Available in A-minor, C-minor, and D-minor.

Combining a pop song form with a lilting triple meter, evocative lyrics, catchy refrain, and text painting, "And the Cycle Goes On" expresses the swirling mix of emotions that often accompany the transition from one phase of life to the next.  Lyrics were developed in collaboration with 5th Grade students to reflect their gratitude, hope, and anticipation upon their promotion to middle school, as well as their wisdom that they are playing an important part of an endless cycle of relationships and growth.  Unison voicing with a short call and response section and an optional four-phrase, four-part canonical section.
