Anthem for Brass on a Tune by Thomas Tallis

This sonorous arrangement, honoring The Third Tune from "[Nine] Tunes for Archbishop Parker's Psalter" by the father of English cathedral music, Thomas Tallis, is equally at home in church and in concert on a recital of brass music. The well-known melody was the theme of Ralph Vaughan Williams's "Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis" for string orchestra (1910).
