Antiphonal for Advent

A children's choir, or an optional soloist, and an adult choir join forces in this original antiphonal anthem calling for all to rejoice in Emmanuel's coming. The call-and-response technique is used to great effect as well as the inclusion of Il Est Ne. A part for seven optional handbells adds sparkle and color as well. There is also a concluding interlude offered that allows the anthem to transition directly into the congregational singing of O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.
