A mysterious 3/4 melody in B minor that uses unexpected harmonies, shivering tremolos, and swelling crescendos to depict the blowing cold winds of an impending snowstorm. Very simple finger patterns and rhythms allow your young players to sound mature. Cello and bass are featured prominently, with an optional piano part with swirling arpeggios and a dramatic suspended cymbal.
