Artists on Recording Technique takes a look at the recording process through an unlikely pair of eyes: those of the artist. Utilizing an interview format, the book provides insights and tips from very prominent (i.e. Tony Bennett) and more elusive artists (The Fields) on recording technique. Everything from vocals, to guitar and drums are covered. The book features full-length articles from the Music, Etc. column in Pro Sound News, a highly successful column that has been running for over ten years to a circulation of over 80,000 people per month. The interviews, conducted by columnist and author Jeff Touzeau, are full length rather than the often-edited format that appears in the magazine.
