Asante

"Asante" is Swahili for "thank you." Written for the developing percussion ensemble, this groovy and fun piece will introduce young percussionists to syncopated melodic rhythms. Flexible mallet voicing allows for a variety of melodic timbres, accompanied by traditional African percussion instruments plus optional timpani. Program this one! Your students and audience will say "asante"!
