Ashokan Farewell

This title may be easily recognized as the theme used in Ken Burns' TV chronicle The Civil War. This haunting melody works perfectly with flutes in a quartet setting or expandable flute choir group.  The arrangement is very melodic, overflowing with beautiful harmonies, rhythmically easy and not difficult to master.  Performers will have the option to play this in either Bb major or C major, as both versions are included, making it more accessible to less accomplished groups.  This surely will become an absolute favorite to be used over and over again.  Highly recommended!
