Aspire

Inspired by the recent commissioned sculpture of the same name on the Louisiana Tech University campus, this piece for the intermediate to advanced piano/keyboard soloist invites us on a journey. Quietly, the seed of vision is planted, then the composition builds, illustrating the metamorphosis of struggle necessary for growth. After achieving a resounding spirit of joy, the piece ends with a calm sense of satisfaction, celebrating and prompting the listener to press forward and to always "Aspire."
