At the Cry of the First Bird

"At the cry of the first bird, they began to crucify Him." This Holy Week anthem has a moving anonymous text with a picturesque piano accompaniment. The unison choral writing expands into four parts, with brief a cappella sections, as the piece progresses.  This would be a meaningful addition to any liturgical Lenten service.
