This is a beautiful setting of two texts, the English translation of Ave Maria usually chanted, and a paraphrase of Proverbs 31, Woman of Valor. For the middle section, I used the actual chant tune. This would be a beautiful addition to your music library to: venerate Mary in services, commemorate women in services, be used in a memorial service or appreciation service. This is is not "worship" of Mary, rather, to venerate her as a strong woman who faced with courage her destiny. It is meant for an intermediate/advanced group mainly because of the complexity of the text. I hope you and your choir will find this a meaningful addition to your music library. I have included the harp part at the end.
