Away in a Manger

Combining handbells with optional handchimes, piano, strings and flute, Joel Raney has created the musical equivalent of viewing a nativity scene with childlike wonder. The soothing lullaby moves from Joel's signature ballad style to a section of whimsical playfulness, with a multitude of different techniques and stopped sounds. Incorporating both the familiar Murray tune along with Kirkpatrick's Cradle Song, this musical presentation makes a charming addition to any handbell choir's Christmas program.
