Bags' Groove

Here's one of a very select group of blues standards that every jazz musician should know.  Paul Murtha's very easy version of this excellent tune from jazz master, Milt Jackson, makes it accessible to young players and gives beginning improvisors a solid platform to spring and swing from.  It's playable with limited instrumentation and solidly scored, making it a "sound good" chart right away!
