Paprika

This is the first movement of "Suite Seasonings," a suite of three charts commissioned by Stanford University. It's a fast-paced, swinging opening movement with lots of solo space for alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet and drums. There's also plenty of high-powered ensemble playing throughout. This serves as a great opener for the entire suite, or for any occasion where you want a nice opener! Written for 5 saxes, 5 trumpets, 4 trombones and 5 rhythm, it can also be played with only 8 brass.
