Be Still My Soul

This piece was inspired by an improvisation during a church service in the summer of 2024. I felt inspired by the feeling of stillness present in the sanctuary and that feeling became the core of the first section of this piece. While the second section has a sense of motion and forward momentum, the piece concludes with the stillness present at the beginning. This piece is suited for intermediate players. Duration: 4:00
