Be Thou My Vision

The mark of a fine arrangement of a beloved hymn is the composer's ability to enhance the melody while keeping the work from upstaging the message of the original. This setting of SLANE is just such an arrangement, and it works beautifully for choirs of any size. Lloyd Larson masterfully renders the accompaniment and harmony of the hymn we know, and he includes an additional melody for one stanza that adds freshness and interest.
