Be Who You Are!

This collection is a songbook for the classroom, yet it is so much more!  It was created by a master teacher and licensed music therapist, especially designed for use in a primary classroom which includes children with special needs-although any class would certainly benefit from the concepts presented through the songs.  Included is a brief introduction outlining the basic strategies for successful interaction to promote therapeutic learning in children with special needs.  The twenty-eight songs in this collection celebrate children-their individual uniqueness and growth, their daily adventures, and their membership within a larger community.  Also included is a helpful performance/accompaniment CD, as well as suggestions for movement and/or rhythm instrument play.
