Slavonic Dance

This melody is one of the most frequently performed of all Slavonic Dances by Dvorak since it's equally exciting for performers and audiences. The transposition to the key of D major maintains the vibrancy of the upper violin range while matching the ability level of younger players. First violinists will find many of the passages to be easily accessible in third position. The integrity of the source music in this grade 3+ adaptation has been retained through the use of double stops, bowing styles, repeated phrases, and dynamics.
