Beyond Basic Percussion

This creative book was developed with one concept in mind: Help the young percussionist become musically independent so you can spend more time making music and less time worrying about their logistics.  This practical and fun collection consists of ten beginning level ensembles which address the most common obstacles faced by young percussionists.  These pieces build on skill sets and difficulty as they progress.  An accompanying DVD includes full-length multi camera video examples of each ensemble performance, along with author tips and technique demonstrations.  Individual parts are available in PDF format.
