Bora Bora

This suite in three connected movements is inspired by "the most beautiful island in the world." The first two movements, Otemantu (Tombstone Mountain) and Moana (Lagoon), portray these island landscapes, while the third movement, Nuna'a (The People), uses traditional sounds of Bora Boran chant and song to describe an evening gathering. �A frenetic and sensual dance closes the work.
