Border Dance

Written as a companion piece to Stranger at My Door, this work celebrates Peg Bowden, a resident of southern Arizona, and her incredible life rendering aid to migrants. Memorable melodies float over an infectious Latin groove seasoned with maracas, bongos, claves, guiro, and more from the large percussion section. Well balanced among the band, this dance is perfect for festival and concert performances.
