Camino, Caminante

An original composition in an infectious Cuban style and with lots of percussion, this piece is a virtual multicultural experience for your choir! A Spanish poem is the basis for the text "Traveler, there is no path. Paths are made by walking," and the music interprets the walking motion of a traveler making his way to his destination. Simple melodic themes are passed from group to group and layered with percussion instruments to create a wonderful, joyful mood through the piece. A must for your multicultural programming this year!
