The Garden of Genesis and Isaiah’s prophecy for Jesse’s house are blended in Mary Louise Bringle's text, given a masterful setting by Roy Hopp. Duple-meter sections that move from serene to acclamatory have a dance-like refrain partnered with them. A separate flute part adds support and augments the keyboard accompaniment.
