A fiery and rhythmic piece in G minor. With dramatic contrasts in articulations and dynamics, driving and syncopated rhythms, and sweeping versus long melodic lines, this original work explores the range and capabilities of the string orchestra. A 6/8 in D major section adds a fresh element. This is a great opportunity to focus on syncopation as well as more advanced fingerings, phrasing, and shifting.
