If you need a high-energy Latin chart, consider this salsa/Caribbean-flavored tune that has optional marimba and steel drum! Commissioned by Nashville's Hume Fogg Magnet school in 2008, this is a welcome addition to my web store. With a written optional Eb in the lead trumpet and a solid salsa feel on the drum kit, this may demand a mature high school or young university group. Lots of fun rhythm section colors and minimalist horn writing techniques, with possibilities for soloists in alto 1, trumpet 2, trombone 2, or any rhythm section instrument.
