The five books in this series range from the late elementary to late intermediate levels. Some of the pieces are written in mixed, irregular meters. One More Dance, in book 2, is written in 3/4, 3/2 and has hemiolas. Waves in Sunlight, in book 3, is written in 4/4 with displaced accents. Romance, in book 4, is written in a "2 against 3" pattern. Improvisation and Rings Around the Moon, from book 5, are written in 3/4, 4/4 and 7/8 meters.
