This piece is a celebration of his memory.This piece is intended for advanced ensembles with a particularly strong trumpet section. The trumpet motif pervades throughout the piece and requires fluent technical and rhythmic skill from all players. The tempo remains constant throughout the work, though rubato may be used at the conductors discretion.
