The allegro tempo fuels the drive and impetus throughout this energetic musical depiction of a powerful whirling dynamo. Beginning with clarinets playing in their lowest register, the machine comes to life and builds up speed, thrust forward by an underlying pulsating percussion section assisted by syncopated rhythms contributed by the winds.
