Also known as the Hound of Hades, Cerberus was the mighty three-headed dog that guarded the gate to the underworld in Greek mythology. This piece evokes the perspective of Orpheus as he traveled to Hades to win back his love, Eurydice. Minor mode, punchy accents, and staccatos along with engaging percussion combine to take the listener on this dark, mythical journey.
