Liam Ramsey-White is an up-and-coming composer who is writing fresh music for string orchestra. With his knowledge as a string music educator, he is able to give students the opportunity to play dramatic music that is very idiomatic for the instruments. This piece starts out slow and lush and then leads to a powerful minor thriller to the finish of the race.
